Environmental objective to consider the environment, incorporating environmental awareness among employees of all processes, and that the minimum requirements following licenses issued by the Climate and Pollution Control Directorate (KLIF). Sydvaranger Gruve AS will consider the ground of environmental goals and update them if necessary. The significant environmental aspects are identified and monitored continuously with the measurements. Sydvaranger Gruve AS is to safeguard the natural environment by taking responsibility to reduce all emissions, and work for, among other things, to optimize processes at all levels, from the mining area in Bjørnevatn and refining processes in Kirkenes.
