Historical material – Production of superslig in the former AS Sydvaranger
Paul Inge Norkyn, who is currently employed as the Company´s Senior Process Engineer and who has been working for Sydvaranger throughout all production periods, was a key player in developing new products at the former AS Sydvaranger.
Primary School visit
Last year, following a month of studies on Sydvaranger´s history from start-up in 1906 until today, Sydvaranger had the pleasure of hosting a plant site visit by 2nd graders from Kirkenes Primary School.
Kirkenes now has it´s very own Sæther Train Station. To honour Freid Martin Sæther, who currently has over 35 years of experience with Sydvaranger over 3 periods of operations, we have re-named Lokstallen to SÆTHER STATION.
The company is continuously focusing on Health-Safety-Environment & Quality (HSEQ). We have over the past few weeks not only worked hard on this internally, but had very valuable input from external parties.
