Christmas eve is rapidly approaching. For many of us this is one of the highlights of the year, but not for all ☹️For many different reasons there are children and adults who are unable to put gifts under the tree or simply put a meal on the table. Unfortunately, this is an increasing problem even in our small community, so it is with great pleasure the SYD-Team can see that actions are implemented by many different parties ❤ The AMFI, LO and other local businesses are cooperating with Kirkens Bymisjon to provide help to our local community – and this year, as last, the SYD-Team has been cooperating with the local branch of the Salvation Army to support the work they do for those who need a helping hand in our community 😊 Not only has the team this week handed over 80 gifts to those in need, but when the Salvation Army in one of the local newspapers asked the community for help during their iconic Christmas Kettle street campaign due to staffing issues, one of our very own employees, Alexa Tabea Våge, donated of her time😇. Standing together makes us ALL stronger, especially in a year where COVID-19 has had a massive impact on all of us. Regardless of interest, organization, religion, economy, time – most of us can on some level contribute to making sure the upcoming Christmas is good for those we are surrounded by ❤ It is with grateful hearts and minds the SYD-Team has been allowed to contribute to this, and our hope is for the local community to stay strong and supportive of each other. We hope you all enjoy the advent, and a merry Christmas to each and every one of you from each and every one of us.🤶🎅☃️🎄
